              "Tsimshian Eagle and Sockeye"

This very traditional Tsimshian design, with soft blue tones in the background and blue water, depicts the Tsimshian family members and reflects the importance of fishing to their lifestyle and their concern for a harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

                                " The Mask"

This painting tries to capture the dancer at a feast. The dancer wears the cloak of the raven and a ceremonial mask. My family belongs to the Raven Tribe and our Raven Pole looks down on the dancer.

"Wileeks Hashoosk"

A skeptical young man often heard his grandfather tell of the mystical whales. One day when he was out paddling, he finally saw them. He rushed home to tell his grandfather, only to have his grandfather say, "Oh, you're finally beginning to believe my stories." If you believe, you will see. If you do not believe, you will not see. Real seeing begins in your heart, not in your eyes.
