I received word from my associate Richard Krentz, Black Creek artist, that we were awarded the contract to create a cultural art installation to be located in the lobby of the Pan Pacific Hotel, which is a five star Hotel located beside the new Trade and Convention Centre. We are very excited and relieved to finally have confirmation of any involvement in the festivities and activities of the 2010 Olympics. Everything has been down to the wire for all of the projects that are located anywhere to the athletes and competitions. Our location is perfect for promoting the members of the Aborigninal Tourism B.C.(ATBC) organization, plus it is one of the main temporary homes of thousands of International Media. As a director of the ATBC I have had the honour of working with some really dynamic and progress people, from many different professions. The Olympics have motivated us to open up opportunities to promote market ready aboriginal businesses, especially beneficial to them and our economy, so very fulfilling and eventful. I wish everyone much success and safety, especially the athletes and residents. And I hope that the damage done by the Olympic committee and all the blessed corporations reaping all the financial benefits.
