WHAT DO WE DO AS JEWELLERS

 I have always been of the mind that we as jewellers or artists, that we must take care of our clients like they

are family. Hence my openess and personalized service online and for in person appointments, and with all this

challenging change I had to break down, mainly out of profit necessity, and increase my prices, which I had not

changed in over 10 years, even when prices went up 30% last year.

Now where did all the interest go? In the eighties people were buying gold and gold jewelry like it was sushi buffet

at the diet clinic, and I could barely keep up to my orders. Those were the days huh? All that we can do really is to

give the best quality service and care to our clients, amybe encouraging the meltdown and recreation of old unworn

jewelry, what that was last years campagn?! Oh well even though we offer all these great deals on service and

product it seems that peopel aren`t spending hardly at all, competition is tougher than ever and to top it off people

aren`t getting married much these days either. Hey what about Love Rings, or Commitment Rings? Gold on silver?

MY SOLUTION

It`s not easy coming up with a solution right now in the jewelry business, Facebook and other internet networks

are over saturated too. It`s my versitilty as an artist and designer that gives me a bit of a survival edge mainly

because I can do many different creative concepts and work for many different people in many walks of life, or I

can just go where the economy has some vitality. Yes the Chinese market is my solution and with the right

connections I hope to be working mainly in the animation and television market, as well as in tourism and

culture, which the Chinese are very interested in, besides all our natural resources.

I went on a two week trade mission and visited four major cities, well they all seem like major cities there. I really

hated the smog but I loved the people and their hospitality. They seem to have an interest in the similarities of our

west coast aboriginal culture, for the arts and some of our ceremonial practices. They are very culture savy people,

and they really show it in their art displays and historical collections, which totally put our art displays to shame.

No I`m not selling out but I do welcome a new creative journey to add to my storytelling. It is possible that my

journey will take me to Hong Kong in February of next year, for a two totem pole carving project at the Hong Kong

School of Canada. I have been offered a double totem pole project that I will create totally at the school there,

teaching children of many different nationalities the fine art of wood carving and design, enhanced by the traditional

Tsimshian protocol of ceremonial practices, such as totem pole raising ceremonies and storytelling through the

designs that are applied to the two red cedar logs. More to come as this intriguing story unfolds. China for two months?

Hard to comprehend indeed but what an opportunity to share my fathers Tsimshian traditions in a very unique way

and location.

WHAT ABOUT THE GOLD MARKET FUTURE?

It seems that gold will keep climbing until the world economy settles down and maybe soon there will be some major

economic crashes that will warrant the new world currency, I`m sure you`ve heard about the AMERO DOLLAR that is

slated for the USA and Mexico and eventually Canada, joining together in the one currency? No you haven`t heard?

Well you must know how the politicians of the world are making their plans to force all this economic BS happen? It

is all doom and gloom according to the political media networks, which is most of them, and blame it on them or us,

but it is a plan regardless, to make the crash happen.Look at how us Canadians, so distracted by so much technology

and so many other causes and issues that we allowed the friggin Can. Gov`t to drop this HST crap on us and then make

it possible for us to try to change it back? Don`t you get it?? It was planned this way. Yes it will cost an absolute unaffordable

ton of our hard earned tax monies to change it back, and throw that on the debt with all that money being given to Aboriginal

people for all the damage done in residential schools, which I`m sure those wealthy gold laden churches could`ve affored to

pay back but no let take it out of the Canadian tax payers pockets again, oh and just wait until everyone has their status. Yup

 I think everyone should have status. Too much to rant about and no accountability to the ones dumping all this crap on us

and getting rich with their own gold supplies, like they didn`t know the prices were going up this high. Check out the people

who have the most invested in gold stocks at the earliest time and you will find the culprits.

So with all the downfull coming if you cant afford to invest then make sure you focus on getting out of debt as soon as possible,

anddon`t buy realistate either because it`s going to crash just like the U.S.A. Be prepared everyone for some hard times ahead.

We will last a few more years fortunately with the influx of Chinese money, but then they own most of the U.S.A. in AMARO

DOLLARS and land and businesses. The Chinese are great hard workers and will teach us a lot about appreciating what a great

country we have, and how good we`ve really had it. Plus it will teach our young generation of spoiled brats about how good

they`ve had it for so long, and there will be no room for laziness because when the welfare system shuts down and all the

Aboriginal hand outs stop everyone will have to learn how to work for everything they need to survive. get ready cause here

they come.
