I have been progressively designing original art images from my unresting
imagination since 1980. Also been creating original Tsimshian Indian design
wedding
bands and engagement rings for couples all around the world.
Designing your rings exclusively and personally to represent each couple in their commitment & bond of love.

Life Crest -
Traditional
animal symbols from Northwest Coast Native Mythology, to
personally and spiritually represent a person and his or her family
lineage. The
'Crest'
represented that person for their entire life and passed
down through future
generations. Traditionally, male children would adopt their mother's
'Crest'
and the
female children would adopt their father's.
Love Ring - In a new tradition of sharing, the
'Life Crest Love
Ring'
can display this
beautiful interpretation of Native Tradition creatively and intricately,
hand engraved by Master Engraver/Artist, Bill Helin. Bill
will create your personalized
'Life
Crest', each
animal will be your choice by preference of character. The chosen animals
will be
uniquely composed together on the rings, and will be a spiritual testimony
and visual
reminder of the bond and commitment of love between two soul mates.
Aboriginal traditions display a respect and love for nature and all living
creatures. The
designs speak many stories and representations of Chiefs and other
families. Animals
as our
'Life Crests' in mythology were spoken of as people, they
gave themselves for
food, they were teachers, some even tricksters. But truly, the animals and
nature were
respected as a blessing from the Creator to preserve for the survival of future
generations.
Each animal has it's own unique characteristics. You can adopt one of
these for its
similarity to your nature and character, or even for the visual beauty of
the
traditional symbology.

Testimonies from some special people
We chose Bill Helin rings because we wanted a wedding band to reflect who we are as individuals represented together on one ring. We wanted our rings with a Pacific Northwest Native Coastal style because of its intimate cultural connection to the natural world. We were drawn in by Bill's artistic talent and unique engraving style. Bill gave us the opportunity to customize our rings, in an original design, to include symbols that we most identify with. We were thrilled to find an artist with Bill's artistic skills who was willing to work with us to create a set of rings that are even better than what we had envisioned. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Bill and our unique and beautiful wedding bands.
Thanks Bill! Katia & Derek Sowers

Bill,
Just got back from the wedding. The ring was the talk of the wedding,
everyone loved it! Even the officiant told us it was the nicest mans
ring he has ever seen and I'm sure he has seen many. So thank you once
again.
