Sperm Whale tooth. The process took Bill approximately
a month and a half to complete.
The Bronze Cast was produced in a Vancouver, BC
foundry as a joint effort with the Inuit Gallery. As a low
number Limited Edtion, these cast sculptures retain a
progressive higher value as do Bill's other limited

"My inspiration for Embrace of
Love has two representations,
fantasy in mythology, and reality displayed in the two faces of
the human characters who I designed as spiritual soul mates. With the
Raven being the dominant character in Tsimshian
mythology, he has the highest place on the sculpture. However,
he also shares the strength in equality to the Eagle. The animal
crest in the sculpture represents two people in union and one spirit
together in their eternal love for each other."
Creatively,
Bill Helin |
